A pile. Or 2. Or 3.(left) A few materials from Sprout Design along with some others, (right) vintage chenille's from Sarah London along with some prints that, well, just looked nice with the chenilles.
And then a beautiful, and generous package from Joanne which is a perfect combination of greys, oranges, blues and mustards [thankyou!]
I will leave the bleach and screenprints to another day.
there is a lot of pink in that pile!

That chenille looks wonderful.

Hmmmm. Chenille. I never picked you as a chenille kind of gal. In a dressing gown and fluffy slippers and your hair in rollers at midday, yes. Very keen to see what you make of it. I have some sitting here, waiting to be sewn into a quilt for another quiltless off-spring.

Love your piles! Can't wait to see how you transform those piles into beautiful pieces. The dark grey fabric on the bottom is one of my favorites...I've been using it on everything around here.

I just discovered your blog and enjoyed reading your birth stories.
I love the dotty chenille, in fact it's inspired me to ebay it, I haven't seen it in different colours like that before.

Ooh I love the vintage chenille too. I ordered a packet of her chenille a few months back, but havent found the right project for it yet. I love all your other fabrics too. I hope your world is a bit calmer now too.

little fabric shoes, lined in chenille, with a fab 'bakelite' vintage button on top. I was going to make new nephew some tiny, fall-themed shoes (seen on 'ohelene dot net/blog')but just couldn't commit to a lining. Monkee fabric was too synthetic, and fur was too dead. Chenille it is. Al, You're a genius (just bask in the glow, you've earned it) type at you soon... loving the path your mind is taking these days! xxooxx Cami

I have just found your blog and love it. Love the piles of fabric - there is nothing better than looking at a pile of fabric before it is cut. Looking forward to seeing what you do with it all!
