I've been wanting to post this for a little while - it's been up at flickr for a few months, but got carried away with other things and other projects. But I love this little project, and it's so fresh and clean, that I figured I might just get away with it for todays Vessel Wednesday. Apologies Carson for lack of designer vessel. Instead you get 3 vessels, all slightly veiled and hidden. A white bowl full of crisp green apples and pears. A basket bag made for Jo - well I needed to out the green pom pom trim in something didn't I. The bag is a vessel, honest, because inside is a pincushion which nestles in the bottom.
And a hidden bowl of lemon cantucci. Which would go down very nicely right now with the new Interweave Knits and a cup of tea. I think these photos will go very nicely with *Charlotte's photo this week - there's a definite green theme going on.
Absolutely LUV the pears~~

What a coincidence, today I have 93 various kinds of green pieces on my desk waiting to be photographed...

Yes, I think you can just about get away with that ;)
Ahem..vw is no ersatz design catalogue; a vessel is what you make of it!
Can I remind you I've 'vesseled' a cardboard box?! :)
If there's nestle-age going on inside then it's a vessel.
I want to eat it all, even the basket bag (must be dinner time).

May I vouch for it's vessel-ness? In fact, so vessel-full is it, that I use it everyday for it's vesselocity. And did I mention how luscious that fabric is? And the pin cushion with that "signature" stitching happening? It makes me feel all happy everytime I see it. Thanks again.

absolutely vessel-y... apples and pears and lemons, a good theme indeed. i have a bit of that superbuzzy fabric that i'm greedily hoarding for the perfect project... the special thing... i must just cut into it, already.

I've been hankering after some pear adorned sneakers by Marimekko so I was delighted to see your vessel! Out of interest, where do you get your baskets from? I've been wanting to try a basket bag of my own, but I've stumbled at this first hurdle.
