Conversation in two parts.
Max:: Karen, excuse me, Karen, excuse me
Karen:: Yes Max
Max:: Excuse me, but how long is it till the end of the world?
Karen:: Oh! Umm, well, it's a very long way away Max.
Max:: Mummy.
Mummy:: Yes Max.
Max:: After Santa Clause comes, then it will be the end of the world.
Mummy:: Oh. Ok. Right.....
Max:: But it's alright because then there will be a new world starting.
You must be all so relieved.
I know what he means- it's nice to think of the start of the new year as a whole new world- new friends to be made, things to be learnt, places to visit, joys to share...

I told my girls that my sister's baby was due after Christmas, just to give it some sort of time frame. She is due in March. We had a frantic conversation the other day about doing something on Boxing Day. When we established that Boxing Day was the day after Christmas I was told that we couldn't do anything because that was the day the baby was coming !! How little minds work.

Oh Alison,
could you please ask Max to put me in the new world - I'm having quite a nice time and wouldn't want to be left out when the new one comes along :)

Gotta love the wisdom of kids.
(Ta muchly also for your info about making quilts. I love, but totally suck, at making quilts. I don't plan them, but just hurl them together in a flurry of enthusiasm. They end up looking very ... unique, to say the least. Maybe I'll take a leaf out of your book and start planning them out a bit. Here's hoping for some good results.)

I just discovered you and your gorgeous children. Then I saw you named your daughter Pia. That is my first borns name and I love it more everyday even after 25 years!!!.
Off the subject I have an Erika Knight question. I am knitting her Rosebud Cardi. How are her sizes off? My girls are all grown so I'm out of sink with baby sizes. Have a great day. Here in Alaska the sun has not yet risen and it is 9:00 am. Bye.
