Lovely freshness of pure linens against subtle patterns in neutral colours and the strength of some stronger greens. A small quilt for Pia, half linen, half red spots, with a band of contrasting materials through the centre. Some little ribbon tags for attaching toys to and some little embroidery pieces still to be finished. And the odd dragonfly. Simple things which can be done in passing, and while children sleep.
Is it terribly inappropriate to say that Skeet Ulrich is rather dashing, and how hooked I am on Jericho?
what you are showing of the quilt so far is very very cool....i hope you are posting a full pic of it on flickr! i'll have to check when i get home (grrrr work blocks flickr access grrrr).... i have heard jericho is actually a pretty good show, i just don't have time for it in my insane TV schedule. but if you like it that much, i'll have to check it out when it comes out on DVD! :)
smooches to pia and max :)

Grinning over your remarks on Skeet and Jericho. A guilty pleasure for many of us, from what my sisters tell me!
While I should be motivated by your creativity, (sighing dreamily) my craft basket has been neglected since Skeet came into my life ;)

I am so embarrassed to admit that I am STILL working on Pia's gift. Hopefully she won't be too big to use it by the time I get it over the pond.

Just beautiful. I love the twill tape. Did you print it yourself? I'm having a difficult time finding a good online source.
