I am about to embark on my first ever quilt and have a very similar style to you. Are there any tips/tricks that you would recommend for a beginner? Thanks!
Oh Alison! I wish I could capture your creative look at the world and sprinkle it on my projects. You never cease to amaze me with your take on color and texture. This is just beautiful! And I would have never thought to do that. I really love the bias tape down the center that is stamped. With the tucked in ribbon. Gorgeous!
Bingo! I've been mulling over making a quilt for my Miles for Christmas, and seeing yours has helped me decide what to do. He's starting to crawl and sometimes I need him to be in the one place, so adding places I can hook toys and crinkly things to is a great idea.
Come visit me www.littlecookies.typepad.com and see how I go putting it togther.
Hi, I am also a beginner quilter and am absolutely in love with your design. Do you have a pattern for this or did you create it freestyle. Any tips, books, suggestions would be wonderful!

I love how you incorporated the "tags" to make it a little bit 3-d. She'll love playing with/sucking on those :) Lovely quilt!
