I can reveal what some of the sneek peeks were about. I signed up for Amanda's Teeny Tiny Swap, and have been busy making the packages up. I send to 3 children, and Max gets 3 parcels in return. This is great for him, because he's feeling a little left out of the whole baby thing at the moment, so I thought this would be nice for him, to get parcels specially for him, with stuff just for him, that he can open.
So For these packages I made up craft/art bags (which are, incidentally, completely usefless as craft bags, but would be great for pretty much any other carrying that needs to be done by 4 year olds). I took one of Max's drawings of a person, and grabbed my trusty Gocco, and finally used the screen printing process to create a thermal imaged screen, and then printed away with gay abandon. So much fun, I can't believe I hadn't tried doing this earlier - like when I first got the machine. I printed excess amounts, that I can use for later for 'stuff'. That's what all the pieces of fabric hanging up in the last post were about. A little pocket has been sewn onto the bags under the print. I am sending to two girls and one boy: the girls got a red flower/star print from Prints Charming, and the boy got a rocket print, also by Prints Charming.
Inside are 2 craft kits for the children.
I wont reveal what they are, but lets say Max was very upset he didn't have kits of his own.
Today is:: Post Office, Fabric Shop x 1 (or maybe 2), Supermarket, Washing, Tidying, Collapsing.
What a great idea, I hadn't thought of using the kids art. I recently found a gocco at vinnies and it had the cloth kit included. I think I might try this out in the school hols and get started on some gifts for Christmas.

What fun! Can I be one of the kids getting a craft bag and kit?
I've been eye Gocco printers on eBay. I'd be interested to read more of what you have to say about it.
Cheers!

I love it! Even if I can't quite tell what it is. I hope Max likes the packages he gets too!

Wow. So lovely - oh the pressure now...
I'm not going to say this too loudly, but Jack and I are feeling well today. A visit might just happen. But keep it a secret - don't let the flu bug know.

I love the idea of using Max' drawing. If the little glimpse is anything to judge by it's going to look pretty cool!!
