Sometimes the little piles become real things, and move from possibility into actioned item. I loved Hop Skip Jump's little post about piles, and loved her idea even more about setting up a flickr group about piles (please do!!). There are weeks when all I seem to have to post about is piles. I love them, and I love what they stand for, and it's nice to hear other people get excited about what they might become and the inspiration of them as well.
See - no pink :)
i'm a huge fan of piles-- especially when something like this comes out of it! so great.

Is there a way of explaining the necessity of piles to husbands?

Oh, I love that outfit! I think I'd like one in my (considerably larger) size.

Hey there- lurker coming into the light. I am absolutely knocked over by the beauty of the things you make. Any chance of you ever setting up an Etsy shop so that those of us who are more skilled with needles of the knitting variety might get to take a little piece of 6.5 home for our ownselves?

Piling is a necessary part of the creative process, in my opinion. How can you fit the right colors and textures together in another way?

Such pretty fabrics. I am still stumped on what to make the new petite 6.5 I'm telling you, no sugary colors throws me for a complete loop! (Although the no winnie the pooh does not.)
Those colors are beautiful. You are changing my way of thinking!

Love the piles - and love the proof even more! Gorgeous job as always; can't wait to see your baby in them. :)

The print in the middle and bottom shots is beautiful - is it old or new? And available?
