I would like to thank each of you who took the time to leave a comment, and share with me your fabric and yarn choices. I smiled with each email I opened - such lovely combinations that might make there way into the world!
I am busy sending off patterns to Becky, Amy, and Jen, and hope they come up with some amazing versions to show!
We've had a few days away with family, lots of gatherings with friends, too much cooking and eating, a little bit of running, and some small pieces of making [the stockings above in linen, deep grey velvet, and silver screenprinted stars drawn by me and the children, all tied together with buttons and a timber decoration]. Tonight we have wrapping to do, and a bike to put together....
the house is quiet, but for how long....
Wishing you all a wonderful Christmas, full of magic, laughter and joy, of remembering those no longer with us, and those less fortunate, of those close by, and those far away, of those that fill our hearts with warmth, and those whose squeals on christmas morning make it all worth while.
xx

Happy Christmas Alison! Let it be wonderful and quiet as it can get. Enjoy! Hugs and much love from Japan, Olga
