I don't often post big expansive landscape shots.
I don't often take big expansive landscape shots.
But something abut being out in the country with a big expansive landscape stretching out before you, adorned with big expansive rolling storm clouds, makes the minutiae all wrong. There is something about this landscape, which is enclosing, and encompassing, embracing in it's fullness and it's intricate details - it is everything all at once.
It is all of that because of the people which fill it. Their laughter. Their humour. Their skill. Their history. Their willingness to let you in, embrace you within the warmth of sewing and crafting love, feed you, calm you, take notice of you, and talk to you. My ribs hurt from laughing. My stomach is still full. And my energy revived for future projects, future meetings, and further photographic studies of the pieces I actually made while away.
Thankyou - to the wonderful people I went away with. My time with you is restorative to the soul and it is always the best of weekends with you all!
