What a beautiful blog!
I'm so jealous - I wish I could write like you, photograph like you, sew like you... I guess I'll just follow your blog for now!

That's exactly what I love about this time of year in Victoria.

I love the concept of a leaf quilt. Imagining that all leaves somehow interconnect is a beautiful idea.

Tania

Thank you for that. I was already pretty impressed with leaves in general (particularly autumny ones) but you just gave me a little gift with the referencing of that quilty story...

I'm glad you enjoyed it so much. The quilting leaves story is beautiful- and meaningful given what I was working on that weekend.

You're photos are so elegant and minimalistic. Very nice. I think a quilt made of leaves would be a bit too crunchy though. ;-)

Your mention of Narnia and other books from childhood drew me into this post. Now I am thinking about just what "the theory of concise" would mean to different people. I think I need to pare down my life and get rid of superfluous items, ideas and maybe even worn out ideologies which just haven't worked for me. At the moment, at least, that is what this phrase means to me.

Just for today I will have a quiet half hour all by myself and relax. During this half hour, sometime, I will try to get a better perspective of my life.
