Peace from our Maker is often found in the quiet serene time spent in the outdoors. The picture included with the beautiful words is a message from God though you.
My prayer this morning is for that peace continue to be with you and many blessings bestowed in the days to come.

Oh, Alison. I know all too well just what all of this feels like - your words took me right back. Real deaths defy description. Witnessing a dear one pass in this way has been, at least for me, completely life changing. I know the fog you speak of, and it will lift after a time. I am so sorry for your loss, and all you've been through and so sorry that Paul's life was cut too short. It takes a strength beyond strength to be there as you all were in the last days, what a gift for Paul. And, if you come after some time to the realization that I did, a gift for you too. Being able to say goodbye is such a gift.

You are all in my thoughts. Sending love, warmth and lots of restorative naps your way.

... and life and death is never the same, ever!
so glad you were able to hold his hand ... I wish I had had the chance to have done that too ... but I was late! I looked back the last time, hours before and I felt the whisper of it coming. silent, soft and powerful!
