I love the fabric, the colour combination, Pia is lucky to have such a great sewer as a Mum.

Children really do touch the heart, I do miss this school performances. The fabric is wonderful, the pale background spiked by the color red. What a lucky little girl to wear clothes made with love - perhaps inspiring others to do the same.

tricia

All of that sounds really lovely. I love that little halter dress.

And that time is so fleeting, I know it sounds like a cliche, but before you know it, they have moved on to other things..that linen is great, she looks so cute in her dress.

i cant help but to cry when im seeing the school concerts and even recently when the kids were doing their athletics carnival, running their little bodies as fast as they could.

I'm delurking to say how much I enjoy your posts; they are full of style and inspiration. The little dress is beautiful. As soon as my granddaughter gets a wee bit bigger I'm going to do some sewing for her. Want to thank you for the link to Kristen Doran and the wonderful Geoffrey Gurrumul Yunupingu. I'm on a quest to find his cd's in the states.

Heids

Just stumbled on your blog. We are huge Gurrumul fans in this house. My Miss Grace has been to 3 Gurrumul concerts - she just loves him. His CD is fab but hearing him live is amazing if you get the chance. And thank you for the inspiration for using Kristen's fabric for kids clothes...I couldn't envisage it 'til I saw that sweet, sweet dress you have made - it is perfect.

sugarcitymelissa

What a sweet and perfect little dress!

I just bought some of this fabric along with about three other of Kristen's gorgeous fabric
and was trying to think of ways to use it
I was thinking of putting it on a canvas frame and hanging it in my bedroom
then I thought of making a bag out of it so I could take it out and about with me
BUT now im thinking my lil girl may need a halter dress hahahahaa

beautiful post I loved reading it....
