FOLD : LIKE A PETAL
From small ideas come large expectations. What started out as little pieces for children, became something larger, for grown ups, with more simplicity, more refinement, and simple details. A large timber button, clasping a shaped fold derived from the shape of petals. A crisp piece of cotton, hand dyed in deep inky charcoal. Hand sewn hems. Hand sewn seams. Small gathers. Intricate shaping. Sleeves which finish at just the right spot. Hemlines, at just the right spot. Something to move in, something to feel grown up in.
[Available in the shop - if there's enough interest I will make more. A child's version to follow shortly]

so lovely alison. let me know if you make more.

Holy cow...I jumped over to etsy and of course it was already gone! That's what I get for living half a world away in the States ;-) It is such a lovely garment, and its new owner is very lucky in deed.
