Love the knit and the bowl.
I know exactly what you mean! I love working with silver especially - and am knitting a entrlac scarf at moment.
I am amazed how you put it into words- the way one feels when working thanks!

Your blog is bewildering and stunning.

it is deliberate and more alive...your cables entwine perfectly...it is a wonderful pattern-I cannot wait to start mine...

Love this post - I am a huge fan of cables, in fact I'd say they are my favorite thing to knit. Sometimes I just swatch them when I'm stressed. This color is wonderful. *touches screen*

And as for snack...they're critical! ;)

it's going to be stunning. Blue sky alpaca is my favorite yarn company -everything they make is gorgeous. I'm making a blanket from the bulky right now and it's just heaven.
and they're from MN:)

'traced with fingers' - that's exactly what i want to do when i see cables.

You have awoken a need to knit cables in me! My last cable knit was Gathering Intentions by Fiona Ellis, I may need to get that book out again although I do love that cowl pattern.

Rebecca

Beautiful, mesmerizing cables and lovely words to accompany them.

Oh! How I absolutely love, love, the little capelet in the beautiful faded raspberry colour. It has such an old-fasioned air, but you have given it a modern twist. I just love it so much. Such a 'unique' little garment :):)

Patricia

ps....I noticed it (the capelet) hasn't made its debut on your blog yet!!!!!! But had to comment because I needed to. It is luscious.

stinkerbell

you have to tell me what you have made this with if I am going to be a true stalking copy cat at some stage :)
