BRILLIANT

I found a splash of colour in amongst the rain this week. Now my bathroom has brilliant pink against the white tile backdrop. It's quite a, well, confronting colour in the brightness of the bathroom. In a good way. I think. It's a lot of pink isn't it? We wont let Pia see it. Just in case it rubs off on her and she starts getting ideas. I do like the intenseness of it though, and even though it's a standard flower you can get anywhere for a few dollars, I like it's sculptural petals, soft and silken. I keep looking at the image and not writing anything, so I think that means I should just let the colour seep through, and let the pink rejoice on it's own.

Laughing. Laughing. It is a pretty color though. Shhhhh. Don't tell anyone I said that. ;)

I'm normally not a fan of pink . . . but every now and then I think it's wonderful - like now.

Hi, I have been reading your blog for a while and I admire your style, your writing, and the beautiful photography. I am a textile artist as well and was immediately drawn to your color choices, love of linen and other natural materials, and simplistic designs. It is a joy to read your posts. Thanks!

Glorious! and yes - in small doses.
Pink is the navy of India isn't it!
