TO CURLY-LOCKS

Curly-locks, Curly-locks, wilt though be mine?
Thou shalt not wash the dishes, nor yet feed the swine;
But sit on a cushion, and sew a fine seam,
And feed upon strawberries, sugar, and cream.
mama sewed + baby slept + child built lego spaceships + the rain came down + the real mother goose 'Curly-locks' + linen/polyester long gathered pants with ribbon tie. have a lovely weekend!

Lovely Alison! Do you get your linen locally? I can never find garment linen, only stuff for needlepoint. Your beautiful grays always make me wistful for some of your gorgeous linen!

The best days are the ones where things fall into place seamlessly [or nearly so] and of their own accord, without effort or force. And when wind up with a great pair of linen blend pants with ribbon tie at the end of it all. It's like the cherry on top.

Lovely capris. And lovely you - you sound lighter, less burdened. Long may it continue, dear 6.5. Have a great weekend.

delightful! I had forgotten about that rhyme. My grandmother used to say it to me while she brushed(detangled) my curly hair. and you posted this on my birthday, when i was missing her very much. thank you! you've given me a memory back which i didn't know i'd misplaced.
