Yes, cream. Don't forget the cream. Cream always makes life a little better, if only for a moment. Brief though a moment may be, it [and the cream] can provide the kind of richness that sustains and nourishes.

love squalor

Bring on the lull of January! (and it's not even mid November)...

We've had neighbours remove large trees recently too and it makes a huge difference with the bird life. Hopefully the weather will play family friendly for a while for you, and take care of yourself.

By the way, the nail salon on the top level of Broadway has really cheap spa pedicures and the most amazing massage chairs...

leslie

i hope that was the best piece of pie EVER - sounds like you deserve it. take care of yourself and breathe, breathe.

shula

two serves, I think.

Melissa

you deserve that pie with cream

Ruthie

What a wonderful shop. I know some of those names having lived in the UK and Germany but I've never seen such a large collection of European toys before.

Enjoy the pie and cream. :)

Or even a little carrot cupcake from South (King St) with orange-zest icing..heaven.
I had one of those yesterday with a cup of tea and I went from craptastic to la la land in less than 5 minutes..highly recommended.

I'm glad your cat situation is improving. I've been meaning to thank you for the vet recommendation - we've had to take Momo there a couple of times for various dramas and they've been absolutely fantastic. I don't know what we would have done if they hadn't been so close and so good.

amisha
