As the weather heats up a bit (perhaps only momentarily) it's been time to make some new clothes for Pia for the summer. I think it was more an excuse to use some of the Liberty and Nani Iro stash.  I wanted simple, bold shapes for her, which let the patterns come to life. I think I hit the perfect combination here. A simple tunic shape with deep V neckline for the two Liberty prints, and a simple gathered smock top for the Nani Iro. I could perhaps make many more of these. We'll see. Time has a terrible habit of slipping away from me at the moment.

Soundtrack for my muse: This Mortal Coil, Song To The Siren. One of the most beautiful and haunting songs that I have returned to over and over. How many late nights of darkness enfolding has this song accompanied me? Many.
