Great fabrics.Wished I knew that shop. On the Sunshine Coast we are fairly limited with such shops although Brisbane is quite close. Mainly wanted to thank you for the inspiring 1 in 10 quilt as it got me focused on using some discontinued but great mambo samples my hubby had - (he's an architect too). I've actually tried to determine the dimensions using the Golden Mean which I became very familiar with when Al was doing his thesis on architects using nature as a stimulus for design. I don't know how long it took you to come up with your design but I haven't patched for a while and it's always so hard to get back on track. Love browsing your blog and love what you do.

Hi,
Have been reading your blog for a little while and really like your work - gorgeous combinations of materials and colours and lovely detail.
Am glad you brought up pattern writing for knitting coz it is something I also am 'doing' {as opposed to sewing}. I've recently opened an etsy shop selling the knitted work I've done so far {belkemp.etsy.com}. The thing I find tricky about sizing for kids is length of armhole and width of neck. I've used the craft council measurements for the main measures but these crucial elements aren't included. How do you create shapes that are going to look good on the many different sizes of children?? The many different proportions?? I'm not into the baggy look too much either! Look forward to seeing more of your patterns.
