Part of the test print, on dyed cotton - I wanted to see how the linework on the screens turned out. It might just work.
Tomorrow: bleach, silk, mixing paint and colours. Yes. Bleach.
Soundtrack: The Editors 'An End Has A Start'
Reading: The Ghost In The House - a must read for any mother dealing with any sort of depression.
Eating: Green and Blacks Dark Chocolate - courtesy of Sarah.
Oooooh, I like that. A lot.

I love bleach on fabric - it reacts in such different ways depending on the fabric content, the dye used, etc. Will be excited to see what you come up with.

Ooh Ooh Ooh..

Ooh, that looks cool . . .
Thanks for the book recommendation, it sounds really interesting, especially the stuff about cycles in families - I think a little self-awareness, but not too much is the most important - I'd like to see what it has to say.
Enjoy the bleach painting, Editors and Green and Blacks - all the right stuff for creativity!

Thank you so much for putting the book info on your blog. This is exactly what I have been dealing with for the last 8 years that I have been home with my kids. I have never met a mom personally that has admitted to going through this. Although all the moms I know go to work everyday. I immediately ordered this book. Also, thank you for the beauty you create. I look forward every day to your blog. By the way, any quilt you make is so beautiful and miles ahead of what anyone else is doing right now. I love your style.
