It's elegant.

Simple.

Versatile.

Very you.

This would make a good meme. The story behind the name.

lindsey clare

ahaha. men are silly.

i like your blog name. i love numbers, numerals, especially even numbers, and six is my 'lucky'/favourite number.

so there you go!

simple and easy to remember for a knitter when I fisrt read you blog few years ago...

;o)

Amelie

It does have punch :)
Too bad you don't know about the half lost stitch, I was wondering too...

i really enjoyed this background of the 6.5... i wonder a lot about how people choose their names, especially as a new blogger i thought so much about it and i am not sure i would have the same name now. perhaps.
the dashed line... the sewn seam... i love that.
and i also love your photos, suggestive of form, a bit mysterious today. a coffee cozy?

Heidi

Thanks Al! My curiosity is satisfied...all except the half a stitch...maybe it's not really lost; you're only half way through the stitch when you get called away...Cheers!

I think the half stitch is not so much lost, borrowed or missing, as being part way through the process of being made.

I always think of an ill-fated shawl of that gauge that I started as a beginning knitter -- it languishes in my closet still. Just delurking to say how much I enjoy your blog!
