cari

The most beautifully dressed mom and babe in town. I can picture it already.

And of course now I'm hungry for a persimmon.

what lovely inspiring wool. i can't wait to see what you do with the habu fibers. i have marvelled at their offerings but always felt a but flummoxed.

Laura

It sounds incredible! I can't wait to see how you and Pia look in it.

Kirsten

like you, i have a fascination for japanese textiles and dies. i also think pia will look fab in the charcoal with the gorgeous pea pod jacket... quite the stylish combo for a girl about town! lovely.

oh to be on your hand-me-down list. good god.

i was afraid to make clothes for sam when he was young... he would grow out of things so quickly and i was too concerned with that part. i've since abandoned that line of thinking, thanks in part to the beautiful things that you and other women take the time to make-- regardless of all the *littleness*.

esmerelda

Such beautiful fabric! I have no doubt you will find the perfect project for it. Thanks for being an inspiration and for your honesty.

All the best,
esmerelda

Five Flowers (Emily)

I saw the Habu booth at Stitches West, and I finally got it. They had all of these beautiful sweaters and pieces knitted up and the drape! Beautiful (but too $$$ for me, sad to say). Can't wait to see what you make!

you write about materials so respectfully, so beautifully. very pleasing to read. luxurious.
