So pretty!!! Lucky girl.

Very natural, light and mellow , Alison!
Love the precious details, the dragonflies are beautiful!

Wonderful! I love the colour combinations, and the ribbon is adorable!

It's gorgeous!

I am about to embark on my first ever quilt and have a very similar style to you. Are there any tips/tricks that you would recommend for a beginner? Thanks!

simply gorgeous!

Gorgeous! I love the little tags for Pia to grab onto!

how beautiful! pia's lucky to have so many hand made things from mom!

wonderful, lovely, brilliant.

That is really beautiful. You are amazing to get so much done with a newborn around.

that is exquisite! the colors are so soothing and cool, and the design is very elegant. i love the idea of the ribbon tags, too.

I love how you incorporated the "tags" to make it a little bit 3-d. She'll love playing with/sucking on those :) Lovely quilt!

Oh Alison! I wish I could capture your creative look at the world and sprinkle it on my projects. You never cease to amaze me with your take on color and texture. This is just beautiful! And I would have never thought to do that. I really love the bias tape down the center that is stamped. With the tucked in ribbon. Gorgeous!

What a lucky girl - two quilts!!

This quilt is gorgeous. I love the alphabet ribbon.

mmmm very noice! youre abit of a crafty bird then arnt ya??
(see what crap TV inspires...proof it aint all that bad)

delicate and simple and really, really lovely.

This is truly gorgeous. Makes me want to work with linen in my next quilt.

So, so sweet!

Bingo! I've been mulling over making a quilt for my Miles for Christmas, and seeing yours has helped me decide what to do. He's starting to crawl and sometimes I need him to be in the one place, so adding places I can hook toys and crinkly things to is a great idea.
Come visit me www.littlecookies.typepad.com and see how I go putting it togther.

Hi, I am also a beginner quilter and am absolutely in love with your design. Do you have a pattern for this or did you create it freestyle. Any tips, books, suggestions would be wonderful!

Thank you,

Tara
