I know exactly what you mean with the stripes and the saturated colours. Having grown up in Scandinavia, I hated it during my early twenties. But it stuck in my mind and resurfaced again. I'm forever searching for the art printed fabrics my mother sewed my dresses from. And I can't get enough of the Marimekko red/pink(!)/orange combos.

Beth's favourite colour has always been orange. And I am so proud of her for having the courage of her convictions and maintaining the orange love through the kinder years of "pink girls". When she was little (well she is still is, but we're talking two-ish) she couldn't say orange, so for ages it was "ondinge". Even now I find myself saying ondinge. So I love your ondinge stripe fabric. Perhaps ondinge will be petite 6.5st favourite colour too? Who needs pink?

Nice! Orange is my favorite, and the same kinds you like. I had a swap partner recently who hated it, and it was almost impossible for me to pick things up that had no orange in them. It made me realize how much a part of my ideology that deep rusty orange really is.

I also just made a pair of seersucker striped pants:
