LEAP FROG
Big box of sock yarn arrived from Simply Socks. Lovely yarn. Yummy yarn. We leapt straight out of the frog pond, and into something longer than 5cm - the little lovely cable socks by Nancy Bush in the current IK in the Ruby Red colour to the far right of the photo. Turned the heel, a little like turning a momentous corner, and on the home foot stretch.
Then there's just the second sock syndrome to concquer.

What? No photo of the sock in question? You will prevail in the face of Second Sock Syndrome. I have faith in you, my dear.

This is revenge for me posting about the Japanese embroidery book which you felt compelled to look up. Now I have to buy some gorgeous sock yarn from the great link you give.
What make is your yarn? Looks wonderful.
PS a knitter called Amelia from Melbourne turned up at Foyles yesterday - she knows Diana well. So nice to have an international flavour to our group!
