BRAMBLE BERRY PIE GETS CROSS STITCHED
It's unusual for me to hold out for long periods of time. Occasionally I do, but usually I jump in with a what the heck attitude which is born of a complete lack of any sort of patience on my part. This one took a long time, but has been worth the wait.
Manos in Quail colourway, which quite nicely matches a skein of slubby wool from Martas Yarns courtesy of Di. There's loads of subtle blues and greys in the Manos, picked up also in the slubby, and accented by the browns and greens. I kind of have something earmarked for this, but am 75gms short of required wool. I could wing it...
Manos in Bramble which is actually much darker then shown, but this never seems to show up in any of the photos I have ever seen of this colourway, so you just have to believe me. I'm doing the Cross Stitch scarf pattern and feeling pretty darn happy I've now got 3 more stitch styles under my belt.

Lovely lovely lovely! Hmmm. I have a SKEIN of Manos.....what could I mix it with? Is the pattern double sided?

Oooo just contacted Manos to find out if they wholesale to Australia, as it's a brand I am thinking of stocking. Have you used it much? It looks yummy!
